Bernie Sanders blows it on Israel & Gaza

Has Bernie Sanders just disqualified himself from becoming Commander in Chief of the U.S., the most powerful nation in the world and leader of the Free World? His outrageous charge that Israel killed over 10,000 Palestinians in Gaza casts serious doubt. At best, Sanders appeared to be a befuddled 74-year-old who over-estimated the figure by five times! That is not only sloppy preparation and playing fast and loose with the facts, but it quite simply showed that Bernie sometimes doesn't know what he's talking about. And everyone thought Donald Trump was off the wall. But seriously, would Sanders as President be qualified to be awakened from a deep sleep at 3AM to make crucial calls about war and peace? It appears that even in the middle of the day Bernie has trouble keeping the facts straight.

Lawyers & Diplomats

Former American diplomat Aaron David Miller has stirred up a new controversy over who is to blame in the Arab-Israeli conflict. In an interview with IsraCast, a former Israeli ambassador to Washington, Zalman Shoval rejects the contention saying it distorts the true reality and warns that although Miller probably blames the Arabs more than Israel his book will give fuel to Israel's adversaries.

BUSH RUN-UP

Less than a week before U.S. President George W. Bush visits Israel, Palestinian terrorists in Gaza Strip have escalated their rocketing attacks by launching a Grad - Katyusha at the Israeli city of Ashqelon. Although the terrorists have been rocketing Sderot for years, the Ashqelon rocketing is being viewed with greater gravity. And even on the West Bank, the domain of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, terrorists shot dead two Israeli hikers. One of the killers was a Palestinian policeman on the Abbas payroll.
